B.A., the 13th to 14th-year academic period, is a crucial one for every Pakistani student. B.A is the minimum threshold in Pakistan to secure a good government job or to obtain a good job. Choosing the bachelor’s or B.COM subject is quite important; it will decide your career for university-level higher studies.


The best part about the bachelor of arts and the bachelor of commerce is the feasibility for anyone. Even if you pursued the Fsc degree or the ICS during the 11th and 12th degrees, you could still change the line by opting for the Bachelors of arts or bachelors of commerce. It is a game-changer for many students, and they take it as an opportunity to change their lives.


For example, if someone wants to join the civil services or become a lawyer, he will choose B.An instead of going for B.S. Secondly, those interested in accounting and finance might go for the bachelor’s of commerce even after ICS or FSc.


B.A. and B.com are often opted by those students who were doing F.A for the intermediate degree. You can either do these degrees from a government college or do it privately. The compulsory subjects of B.A part 1 is as follows.

Compulsory subjects of B.A part 2.

  • A. English 2.

English 1 and 2 comprise almost two or three books of English. Islamic studies can also opt-in English or Urdu. The same goes for Pakistan studies; students can choose whichever medium of the language they want for the compulsory subjects except for English. For each elective subject, the marks are 200; a paper A will be attempted in B.A part 1 and paper B is attempted in part 2 for each elective subject. There will be a single 100 marks paper for the optional subject, which will be attempted in the B.A part 2 only.

The careers mentioned below are not the only option to choose for the career line; a B.Com degree holder can opt for LLB or other professions as well.
