O Level

Cambridge O Levels is an internationally recognized qualification that prepares students for further academic and vocational study. It is designed to develop essential skills such as critical thinking, problem-solving, and independent learning, providing students with a solid foundation for their future education and career. At Roots International Schools & Colleges, we are proud to offer the Cambridge O Levels program to our students, giving them the opportunity to gain a globally respected certification that is accepted by top universities and employers around the world. With a wide range of subject options to choose from, students can tailor their studies to their interests and aspirations, while gaining valuable knowledge and skills that will benefit them for years to come.

Subject Selection

Students choose a combination of subjects in line with their interests and the Guidance Counselor ensures there is a strong correlation between interests, A’ Level studies, and University Admissions. Each student tailors a course of study unique to their academic interests with knowledge of equivalence requirements made available to parents at the time of subject selection. It is advised to take certain subject combinations based on the chosen field of study at A’ Level, and at Higher Education institutions. However, RISC students usually take a wide variety and range of courses to enrich their learning experience and there is the minimal restriction when taking electives.
